Coming Events

Fall 2017

Our fall events include our Roast Beef Dinner and Silent Auction on November 4th, a Women’s Retreat called “Lavender Springs Spa” on November 18th and our Christmas Bazaar on December 2nd.

Lavender Springs Spa is a relaxing spa-themed retreat for women. It includes worship, Bible study, and time for laughter, as well as time for quiet reflection. We’ll be focusing on the book of Psalms and will be encouraged by God’s faithfulness and love. Take time to relax, make new friends, worship, and draw closer to God. We hope you’ll join us at Lavender Springs!

Registration is between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. with breakfast (continental style: muffins, fruit, coffee/tea, etc). We will start right at 9:00 and intend to be finished at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The retreat will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church with street parking available and the cost is only $25 per person! This covers breakfast and lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day, fun and refreshing activities.

Please feel free to pass this information on to family and friends. All are welcome! There are a limited number of seats available, however, so register early. Next Sunday, October 22nd, there will be a registration table in the Hall following the service. Just look for me, Peggy Everson, and I will be happy to get you signed up.

If by any chance you would like to be involved as well as attend – there’s still room for you to be part of our team of volunteers the day of the retreat. I’ll be praying for your safe travel and for this getaway to be a time of refreshment for your heart. Oh, by the way – we’ll be very relaxed and casual, so wear comfortable clothing.
